ABOUT
Girls~olgy was birth out of a review of my company Camp Tech reports for the summer of 2005. In that report I notice that we had a 90% boy to 10% girl ratio. I began to ask the question, "Where are the girls at? Which lead to the creation of Girls~ology, "Where Girls and Technology Collide."
I began to research girls in IT and realized that with over 28 plus years in the field of IT that their is still a shortage of women. I decided to change that through my creation of a gender base curriulum created by a girl for girls.
I sought after the largest girl population in northeast ohio, Girls Scouts of NEO and reach out to the president to offer Girls~ology to the GSNEO. She was impress with the curriculum which was inline with her current mission of leadership. We have been successful in Northeast OH which lead us to launch nationally.
